Our Team
Björn Nagel & Team: Zuhause in Friedrichskoog und Passau
For generations, show jumping and the breeding of show jumpers have been at the heart of the Nagel family’s life. Björn Nagel developed a passion for show jumping at an early age, which led him to success at the highest international level, such as 4th place in the team competition at the World Championships and participation in the Olympic Games.
The family man from Friedrichskoog has won numerous Nations Cups, World Cup jumping competitions, international Grands Prix and senior championships. He took third place in the longest and most difficult jumping competition in the world, the Hamburg Derby.
Björn Nagel attracted attention at a young age with his successes on the national and international stage. He not only won team gold several times at the European Championships, but also two individual gold medals. Successes that were only the starting signal for an outstanding career on the show jumping course.

Knowledge transfer across generations
We always strive to develop ourselves further in all areas
An important foundation for our team is the expertise that Björn Nagel and his family have built up in the equestrian industry over generations. His father Tjark Nagel already achieved numerous successes on the national and international stage during his active time as a rider. Today he is in demand worldwide as a trainer and in this position is behind successful athletes such as Janne-Frederieke Meyer-Zimmermann (team world champion and winner of the Grand Prix of Aachen), Dennis Nielsen (German champion), Tobias Meyer (German champion) and Sören Petersen (participant in the World Championships). He is also the national coach for the Czechs in the junior and young rider age groups.
Like Tjark, Björn now shares his knowledge not only with the next generation of the Nagel family, but also with customers from all over the world. Together with his team, he has developed a full-service offering for breeders, horse owners and riders, which he successfully implements at two locations in Friedrichskoog (Schleswig-Holstein) and Passau (Bavaria).
We see our constant willingness to develop further in all areas as a key success factor.
In addition to the areas relating to the management of horses and riders and breeding, this naturally also includes equipment. The Nathe brand, in the development of which the Nagel family has played a major role, today stands for innovative horse bits worldwide.
