The Friedrichskoog Classics celebrated their premiere at Björn Nagel’s facility in Friedrichskoog in August 2023. The equestrian festival by the sea was a stage for young talents and big names. Numerous spectators, sponsors and riders from various nations came to Friedrichskoog and experienced exciting sport in the dressage arena and on the show jumping course.

In addition to a wide range of tests for novice riders, youngster tests up to advanced level, the show concept also included a varied supporting program, such as the beach volleyball event, the casino night, training demonstrations with Evi Bengtsson, a raffle for a Bemer set and a course inspection with Tjark Nagel. An extensive catering offer, shopping facilities and a children’s area made the show an interesting destination not only for riders but also for families in the region.

After this successful premiere, the second edition of the Friedrichskoog Classics will follow in August 2024. All further information about the tournament can be found on the tournament website.
